The IAP supports numerous internship positions throughout the academic year. We welcome your internship postings and would be happy to host on-campus interviews.

IAP Fellowship Opportunities

The Industrial Affiliates Program offers graduate students in our M.S., M.A., and Ph.D. programs the opportunity to collaborate on a research project with our affiliates-Medtronic and U.S. Bank. One $2,000 fellowship will be awarded by each company for the 2011-2012 academic year. Suggested research topics are on the application, but students may also suggest new topics if they wish. Applicants must be full-time graduate students for the 2011-2012 academic year in good standing OR candidates accepted into one of the Writing Studies degree programs: the Certicate in Technical Communication, the M.S. in Scientific and Technical Communication, or the M.A. or Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Scientific and Technical Communication. The application deadline is noon on Monday, March 21, 2011.
