My experience with USBank was a familiar one given that I had worked in similar team environments with other developers and designers of large-scale websites in my previous work. I met with the USBank usability team on several different occasions to discuss topics of interest, most specifically social networks, document design, and the integration and cohesion of imagery in online spaces. We also discussed the efficacy of mobile technology and banking—and how to meet the needs of a growing mobile user base—but continue to be security conscious. While we were most interested in what the current trends are within usability and social media research, we also discussed the new website design for USBank and how the design and functionality could incorporate input from multiple departments at USBank.
