Title of Project : Evaluating Collaborative Communication Technologies Through a Face to Face Semiotic Model: Theory and Application

Description of Project : An ethnographic examination of how technical communicators used different kinds of media (both conventional and online) to exchange information with colleagues. Once data was collected, a semiotic framework was used to help interpret the benefits and detriments of using different kinds of communication technologies.
